DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: D.O.C. Rioja.
GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Tempranillo.
VINEYARD AGE: Planted in 1965.
ELABORATION: Grape vines grown from dry and harvested in the first half of October, once reached optimum ripeness.
Fermentation at controlled temperature of 26 ⁰ C, with maceration prior three days to 12 ⁰ C, in order to extract all the aromatic potential of grapes. Prepared by the more traditional method.
TASTING: Deep purple color.
Characteristic of the Tempranillo varietal aromas reminiscent of red and black fruits (strawberries and blackberries), very well combined with flecks of black licorice.
Mouth round, broad and silky with a deep and long fruity aftertaste.
ESTIMATED TIME OF CONSUMPTION: 18 months.
CONSERVATION TEMPERATURE: 12⁰ C.
CONSUMER RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE: 14⁰ C.
