TYPE OF WINE & VINTAGE:  red wine.

 

DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: D.O.C. Rioja.

 

GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Tempranillo.

 

VINEYARD AGE: Planted in 1965.

 

ELABORATION: Grape vines grown from dry and harvested in the first half of October, once reached optimum ripeness.

Fermentation at controlled temperature of 26 ⁰ C for 18 days, with light overpumpings to get light and ripe tannins and all its potential in colour. A special wine is succeeded for agening in french and american 225L. oak barrel for one year.

 

TASTING: Dark crimson clour.

 

A complex bouquet of vintage wines with elegant reminiscences of ripe fruit and liguorice. Balmy and with a spiced touch.

Round tasted in mouth, wide and silky, hectic and with a long and restless post-tasting.

 

ESTIMATED TIME OF CONSUMPTION: 3 following years.

 

CONSERVATION TEMPERATURE: 12⁰ C.

 

CONSUMER RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE: 17⁰ C.
